Welcome! My name is Lizzie Heick. I have been knitting and crocheting since 2014. Currently, I am test knitting the Home Shirt Jacket and the Oakwood raglan, and finishing a crochet blanket for the Loose Ends Project. Before returning to Chicago for school, I taught knitting and crochet lessons to 2nd-5th graders in Anchorage, Ak, as a 21st Century leader, and I attended fiber spinning retreats in Big Lake, Ak. 

I know how to knit, crochet, tunisian crochet, weave, spin with a wheel and drop spindle, punch needle, sew, quilt, and embroider. I'm working on adding nalbinding, an ancient textile technique, and lace tatting to my repertoire. There's always a new hobby on my list!

All knitting and crochet lessons are $20 per hour, one hour minimum, six hours per lesson at the longest. 50% deposit to confirm the booking. We will choose a public location downtown to meet at (Starbucks, coffee shop, library, etc) for the lesson. Location is flexible, but additional travel charges will be added for non-downtown lessons.

Materials are not included in the $20 per hour. If you want the materials to be provided, let me know beforehand, and an additional charge will be added to your total :)
